From 25 to 29 September, this town in M\u00e1laga hosts one of its biggest events of the year, featuring concerts, a daytime fair, family activities and a programme that combines tradition and entertainment.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Torremolinos is already in the midst of celebrating its San Miguel Fair 2026<\/strong>,<\/a> one of the most well-known events on the Costa del Sol\u2019s festive calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

See you next time 29 September<\/strong>, the municipality combines activities in the town centre and at the fairground, featuring musical, cultural, family-friendly and traditional events designed for a wide range of audiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s event once again places the emphasis on public participation and on one of the elements that have historically characterised these festivities: the sense of community between residents and visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Music for fair nights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Music plays a central role in the programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Pr\u00edncipe de Asturias Municipal Auditorium is currently hosting a variety of artists and groups. Following the performance by Falete<\/strong> On the opening day, Saturday 26th, it will be the turn of The Asl\u00e1ndticos<\/strong>, with Ochentados as the support act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They will be performing on Sunday 27th Pepe and Vizio<\/strong>, whilst Monday 28th will feature a day also dedicated to folklore and dance, with the Juan Navarro ensemble and the groups led by Manuel Rold\u00e1n and Luc\u00eda Barroso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event will come to a close on Tuesday 29th, the feast day of St Michael the Archangel, with El Kanka<\/strong>, who will be performing at 8.00 pm in Plaza Pablo Ruiz Picasso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A fair that\u2019s also enjoyed during the day<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The celebrations are not confined solely to the exhibition grounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Saturday 26th until Tuesday 29th, much of the action will take place in the centre of Torremolinos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plaza San Miguel will feature live music and food and drink outlets, whilst Plaza de la Uni\u00f3n Europea will also host events organised by local groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The refurbished Plaza de la Nogalera is also included in the daytime programme, with performances by groups such as Money Makers, Captain Vinyl and Mister Propper<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This combination of day and night festivities transforms the town centre into one of the main venues for the celebrations and allows residents and visitors to take part in the festivities without confining the experience to the fairground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Equestrian traditions, flamenco and family activities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The San Miguel Fair also features a wide range of activities linked to local traditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Saturday 26th, the 2nd Horse Parade and Horse-Drawn Carriage Competition<\/strong>, with participants gathering at 11.00 am on Calle Cuba, setting off at 12.00 noon and expected to arrive at the exhibition grounds at 1.30 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Sunday 27th, the Plaza Costa del Sol will host a Flamenco Caj\u00f3n Masterclass by Sevillanas<\/strong>, with Francis Cerd\u00e1n on guitar, Roc\u00edo La Boterita on vocals, and Isaac Garc\u00eda and Lorena Negrillo on percussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Monday 28th, the Torremolinos Bullring will host the equestrian show \u201cRhythm on Horseback\u201d<\/strong>, featuring the dancer Esperanza M\u00e1rquez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme also includes activities specifically aimed at children and young people, rounding off a fair designed for a variety of audiences and age groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A festival closely linked to Torremolinos<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The San Miguel Fair is deeply rooted in the town\u2019s identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, the promotional poster was designed by Lorenzo Saval<\/strong>, editor of the magazine Coastline<\/em>, with a play that forges a link between Torremolinos\u2019 cultural memory and its local festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The celebrations will come to a close on Tuesday 29th, the feast day of Saint Michael the Archangel<\/strong>, the town\u2019s patron saint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
