Grant Peires, Director of Solidarity and Kindness at IDILIQ Group, has joined Skål International Málaga-Costa del Sol as a new member.
Grant has over three decades of professional experience in the tourism sector. Since 1988, he has built his career in the fields of holiday resorts, holiday property and communications, working with various international markets whilst maintaining close ties with the Costa del Sol.
His professional career has been characterised by a firm commitment to the more human side of tourism. He is the founder and driving force behind Kind Holidays, an initiative that offers free holiday stays to families coping with serious illness, bereavement or other particularly difficult circumstances, as well as to carers and military families.
Through Room for Kindness, Grant also encourages hotels and tourism businesses to get involved, arguing that the sector’s resources can be turned into opportunities for rest, recovery and social interaction for those who need it most.
